I know I’ve posted this site before..

… but I’ve just seen the new must have product at despair.com and while browsing the posters found one which – I think – a few of us corporate sell-outs can probably relate to:

Oh yes.

There’s many, many more here with hardly a dud amongst them. And if I had to choose just one more on a similar theme:

Shipping charges very reasonable as well. It’s what the Internet was made for 🙂

We have consultants in at the moment, demotivating everyone brilliantly. Despair Inc. always makes me laugh out loud.
I am tempted by a T-shirt; “Unleash the power of mediocrity!” sounds like a good call to use in our next rowing race. Nothing will happen, but at least we won’t expect a huge wallop of extra oomph. The age of pessimistic realism is upon us, and you, Mr. Leigh, are in the vanguard.
    🙂
(or should that be 🙁 ?)

  2. This pretty much describes my learning curve when it comes to bike repair:

    “Incompetence

When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there’s no end to what you can’t do.”

Further, this supports my theory that each of us gets exactly one time in out lives when using a bigger hammer is the solution. The day that using a bigger hammer worked for me (Snaking audio wires through the floor of my parents house, if you can believe it), I thought to myself: “Well that’s it..”

Not using a bigger hammer on the memory of that day has saved me countless botched projects since then.

Hmm – that worked well..not. ‘Ineptitude’ – If you can’t learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly. 🙂
